Mohammad Helmy

Mohammad Helmy is concerned with the issue of Domestic and Industrial Waste Management by actively raising related issues such as 3R (Reduce, Recycle, Reuse) EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility), and the Co-beneffit Approach for better waste management in Indonesia. He is often asked as a speaker and expert advisor for waste management problems and solutions both at home and abroad. During his tenure as Deputy Assistant, Law No. 18 of 2008 on Waste Management was issued.

In his career history, Mohammad Helmy has served as Head of the Sumatra Regional Environmental Impact Management Agency, then in the same position in the Sulawesi, Maluku and Papua Regions. In 2000 - 2002 Mohammad Helmy was transferred to the Environmental Laboratory at Pusarpedal Serpong Banten with the main task of increasing the provincial government capacity in environmental laboratory management.

After that, he served as Assistant Deputy for Environmental Policy Coordinator at the Indonesian Ministry of Environment, then successively as Assistant Deputy for Environmental Standardization and Technology (Assistant Deputy for Environmental Standardization and Technology), Assistant Deputy for Environmental Standardization and Technology Regional Environmental Management (Assistant Deputy for Regional Environment Assessment), Deputy Assistant for Domestic and SME Waste Pollution Control (Assistat. Deputy for Domestic and SME's Waste Pollution Control, and his last position when he retired in November 2008 as Deputy Assistant for Manufacturing Waste Pollution Control ( Assistant Deputy for Manufacture Waste Pollution Control).

Even today, when he has retired, he is still active as a senior staff member at the Deputy for Pollution Control with a concern on environmental policy and is often asked to be an expert advisor on Municipal Solid Waste Management and Regional Planning and Development.

Sri Bebassari completed his undergraduate education in Sanitation / Environmental Engineering ITB in 1979 and a Masters in Environmental Science Study Program, UI. A series of professional experiences have led Sri Bebassari to become an expert in the field of waste management in Indonesia since 1981.

Apart from being registered as a BPPT researcher and having served as Assistant Director of Environmental Technology at BPPT for 5 years (1998 - 2003), Sri Bebassari is often asked to be a team of experts, a technical advisory team, and a resource person in national and international institutions. Call it as a resource for the preparation of Law no. 18 on Waste Management, resource person for drafting the Regulation of the Governor of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government on Reducing Household Waste and Waste Similar to Household Waste, Expert Solid Waste Management at the World Bank Office, Jakarta.

In the world of non-governmental organizations, Sri Bebassari was the Executive Director of the Environmental Partners Fund, as the Founder and Chairperson of InSWA, the Founder and Executive Director of the PERISAI Foundation (Indonesian Waste Research Development Center), and Founder / Chair of the Indonesia Waste Forum (IWF) Advisory Board .

Until now, Sri is active as the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Solid Waste Technical Advisory Team, Expert Staff at the Rawasar 3R Center in Central Jakarta, the Bantar Gebang Integrated Waste Management Site Control Team - Bekasi which belongs to the DKI Regional Government, and a Member of the Adipura Advisory Council, Ministry of Environment. .

Graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering, University of Indonesia 1981 and S2 in the Pollution and Environmental Control Program, University of Manchester in 1990, is a BPPT researcher who has been a researcher of BPPT for most of his career dealing with solid waste management in Indonesia , both in terms of technology and management, especially with regard to landfill technology. Therefore, he is referred to as one of the landfills experts in Indonesia.

Throughout his career, Djoko Heru has been involved in various national and international activities and projects including the Solid Waste Final Disposal Improvement Program (2005 - 2010), Small Scale MSW Composting Improvement Program (2004 - 2005), Jakarta Environmental Strategic Platform, Study on Plastic Waste Management System, West Java and Jakarta Environmental Management Program - WJJEMP, Study of the Small Scale Incinerator for Medical Solid Waste in Hospital, Management Information System Design in the Field of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) for Surabaya, Program on Packaging Minimization on Municipal Solid Waste, Maspter Plan and Feasibility Study on Java Line for High Speed Train, Program on the Assessment and Application on Industrial Waste Management, ADIPURA Clean Cities Program, and others.

Apart from being the coordinator of research projects and activities, until now Djoko Heru Martono has been asked to be an expert advisor on waste management by the DKI Jakarta Government, and a resource person for the Waste Management System at the Directorate of PLP, Ministry of Public Works.

A master's degree graduate from UI who also serves as deputy chairman of the Indonesian Solid Waste Research Development Foundation (PERISAI) is a waste management specialist who has experience as a solid waste expert in a private consultancy who has handled various projects from the World Bank, the Central Government and Local Governments for the region DKI Jakarta, Tangerang City and Regency, Gorontalo City, Batam City, Tanjung Pinang City, Riau Islands.
In addition, he is also active as an expert who has implemented the Clean Air Project from Swisscontact in collaboration with the USA Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and is also a member of the SKKNI Waste Management Team of the Department of Public Works and has compiled a waste management guidebook for vertical and horizontal residential areas. for Dept.PU

Dini Trisyanti

Deputy for Capacity Building and Technical Guidance

Dini Trisyanti completed her undergraduate education in ITB Environmental Technology in 2000 and S2 in the International Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Infrastructure Program, Faculty of Industrial Economics and Built Environment Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. With this educational background, Dini Trisyanti is a water and sanitation expert (watsan) with more than seven years of experience in technical assistance for environmental programs, especially solid waste management for urban areas.

Apart from being the Deputy for Capacity Building and Technical Guidance and coordinating InSWA programs, Dini is also active in IATPI (Indonesian Association of Environmental Sanitation Engineering Experts) encouraging advocacy and capacity building for communities, local government, and related agencies. Dini has also worked as an expert. in the Environmental Services Program - USAID, whose tasks include coordinating between community-based waste management organizations, green school programs, facilitating research, designing, implementing, training, promoting, and monitoring and evaluating at least 4 communities and 6 schools in DKI Jakarta.
